In this post I’m going to look at 10 ways Twitter can really help your productivity, and 10 ways that it can waste your time. Here are ten ways Twitter can be a productivity tool: 1. Even when it comes to touching base with my virtual team, Twitter seems much more direct than even email at times (for those members of the team who have embraced Twitter, of course). SMS’d tweets can cripple productivity by interrupting you every other minute.

Speaking of SharePoint, I had a nice time catching up with Christian Finn and Venky from the SharePoint team at Microsoft. I met them earlier this year when they gave me a day-long briefing into the future directions of the product (sorry, details are under NDA). It’s especially important for Microsoft, since it takes a long time for them to develop products. And their products will benefit greatly by the insight they gathered. I’m really upset at Yammer.
