As usual, the changes seem pretty arbitrary, but Facebook appears to have moved in the direction of having a profile page that blends your professional life and your personal life, and I feel pretty strongly that this is a mistake. It's in Google's interest to deconstruct Facebook as a service, finding faults along the way, which this presentation does in spades.
