The team put together a white paper, titled the 2010 CIO Outlook , which has helped both innovators and CIO technical leaders understand how to use the new innovation model to achieve business goals without large investments. For example, whereas in 2003, with the conventional model four projects were selected from an initial set of 28 projects, in 2006 the TAP community yielded 48 projects.

RSS feeds in SharePoint are a good example of a “platform feature” – they’re everywhere, and they’re seamlessly integrated.
