Because at the end of my prediction, I said Google’s app streaming was going to help make it all happen. [2009, Google] Friday’s favourites
I wrote my first Friday Find in May, 2009. My current practice is to summarize what I have found on various social media platforms (Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, private channels) and create a blog post every two weeks. It was an attempt to make my finds on Twitter more explicit, as I noticed I was sharing and viewing a lot of information on Twitter but not doing anything with it.

Improve Google Skills in Five Minutes. There wasn’t much dispute around this, but the question was raised by someone in the audience: If I had five minutes to learn to search better in Google, what should I learn / where should I go? The basic question: What could someone learn quickly to help them become better at using Google? What is a method that you use with Google that you believe is not widely known that could help someone? Your LinkedIn profile.

Well, extending the logic, it only makes sense that Twitter will curate media services , just as LinkedIn and now Facebook are starting to do (I argue that Graph Search is a media play here ). “Just Landed” – from 2009.
