But where does that leave us? really plays out?
You can do this on a wiki (with comments) or GoogleDocs (with comments), but the more robust tools I came across were Traction , Basecamp , and Activities on LotusConnections. an existing CoP or team space (which is dire when the people you want to collaborate with aren’t on your team or CoP).
Eg, see Wikipatterns - WorkLight offers a plug-in for FaceBook -- called WorkBook -- that enables business teams to do their work within FaceBook. - "blogs are so 2005." Mentioned Connectbeam ("lots of good work") and IBM LotusConnections ("they couldnt give me any customer references") - mashups. GoogleDocs & Spreadsheets.
Work Literacy can personalize the content based on your interests, your LinkedIn profile, what you share on Twitter and LinkedIn, and what content people similar to you are sharing. More on Content Personalization
